Our Love Story
​
We are high school sweethearts. We first met in primary school in Geelong. We then reconnected in year 10 and became each other's best friends. We supported each other at our Saturday netball and Sunday soccer matches, texted at all hours of the day, went on dates to the movies and along the Geelong Waterfront. Though we did not recognise it, our friendship blossomed into love as we experienced the highs and lows of teenage - early adult life. We shared our Debutante ball, supported each other through university, even traveling overseas together. Our trip overseas solidified our love for one another. We wanted to experience everything life has to offer with each other. We couldn't image each other not being in our lives. We moved out into our own place in 2021 and then bought our first home in 2022. Moving out has allowed us to further learn who we are as a couple and also as an individual, it has proved that we are simply meant to be. We have different strengths but together we are a perfect pair. We moved 4.5 hours away from our families. We didn't know at 15 that we were meant to be more than best friends, but every day we fall more in love with each other. And we're glad that we have and will continue to experience all aspects of life together.
The Day
Our day was absolutely perfect!! There was not a single thing that we would change!! All our vendors really understood who we are as individuals and as a couple and worked together to pull off the most amazing day!! Our florist did such an amazing job!! We had endless amounts of comments from both the guests and other vendors about them. She really took our vision to the next level. The venue did an absolutely amazing job as well! The food was impeccable! A highlight for us was having our dog, Maple attendant thanks to the services of the Wedding Sitter. She is as much a part of our family as all the guests and we were so glad we got to have photos with her. Our photographer did an amazing job at capturing the day. From getting ready and calming Amanda's nerves to the party!! Seeing everyone on the dance floor enjoying themselves without a care brought us absolute joy!! Some of the dance moves (including many of our own) bought laughs and joy to the whole room!! We could have partied all night!! We are so grateful that we got to spend our special day with our friends and family!!
