Our Love Story

We met on Tinder in 2016, where we both thought each other sounded fun and didn't take ourselves to seriously. We would go on dates together where we would mostly walk and talk for hours. We fell in love over watching movies, laughing, just driving around and just spending down time together.

We went on a trip to Queenstown together in 2017, which was so much fun but proved that I cannot snowboard.  We moved in together later in 2017 and have never had an argument since living together.

In 2018 our little family grew with the addition of Bunnings, the snag dog. He has been running our lives ever since.

In 2019 (only months before the pandemic) we took a trip to Europe where Stuart proposed at a castle in England (Thornbury Castle) in the Tudor gardens. We travelled around England and spent Christmas in Finland (in the North Pole).

When we returned back, we spend 2020 and 2021 planning our wedding. We had to cancel our engagement party which was due to occur in March of 2020 (the weekend that Australia first went into lockdown). Planning the wedding during COVID was incredibly stressful but turned out so perfect as everything opened up 2 days before our wedding.

Everything on the day was perfect.

The Day

Our wedding was absolutely perfect!!

2 days before our wedding, COVID restrictions changed so we could have as many people as possible that could make it and we didn't have to wear masks. The weather was also perfect and after being predicted for rain all week.

The only thing we would change about the day was that some of our interstate guests could not attend due to state travel restrictions. My grandparents as well as one of our best men (we had 2 best men) were not able to attend, but zoomed in.

Our wedding day was so much fun! The ceremony was light-hearted and fun, the photos with Anna were playful and the food was amazing.

Our entire wedding was Gluten Free because Stuart and a number of his family members are Coeliac, but the food was to die for.

The music was amazing, and we were able to have a good boogie. We even had a family friend give a speech via the phone all the way from England.

Literally all our vendors were perfect, and we wouldn't have changed anything.
