Our Love Story

Our Love is unconditional, it's being able to be exactly who you are without any shame, it's spending every hour together because you're best friends too! Our love is perfectly imperfect, our love has no limits, and our love is simply beautiful! We knew from that very first moment we saw each other, the first touch and first kiss would be our last! We knew we were forever!
We met on bumble in April 2021 which still gives us anxiety thinking about what life would be like if we didn't swipe right on each other or respond after 24hours! Our love blossomed so fast and beautifully! After the first month we had said 'I love you' and were officially together! We wanted all of the same things, we became best friends and spent every spare minute together! A few lockdowns happened and I was working from home so we're able to spend a lot of time together which was beautiful for our relationship! We got to know each other so deeply, it was truly special! Two souls became one when we fell pregnant with our beautiful baby daughter Rogue, our love and happiness multiplied in a matter of seconds!
2022 started with a beautiful marriage proposal and from that moment we knew we wanted to be married that year! We are both born on the 22nd so decided that the 22nd of October 2022 was perfect! Watching each other become parents after Rogue was born in May 2022 has been life changing, it's honestly one of the most amazing feelings! It's something that's hard to explain and unless you experience it you wouldn't know! Our love grows day by day, being each others number one fan and each others biggest support and priority is what we always wanted when finding the one!

The Day
​
Our day was intimate, we had a small ceremony with close family at The KO studio in Newtown! The venue was absolutely perfect, beautiful blank canvas for us to be able to decorate how we pleased! It was so special having my Mum carry our 5-month-old down the aisle to Jeremy before I walked down to aisle to both of them standing under the arbour! Jeremy still says he felt so lucky standing up there when Gemma walked down, he still can't believe how beautiful she looked and how whole he felt in that moment!
Di created such an amazing small ceremony where we both shared personal vows, we also made Di cry when she read out how Rogue made us feel as parents which was such a special moment! We then mingled with family while getting some candid photographs and family photographs with Keoni our photographer!
One of our favourite parts of the day was heading to the Newtown woollen mill to get our wedding photos done just the two of us, the vibe was very us and we had so much fun being silly and all loved up as husband and wife! We then had a break before heading to our engagement party to surprise extended family and friends that we are married!
It was so amazing walking into the Sporting Globe Geelong hand in hand to a confetti shower with everyone cheering for our love! The signage and our wishing well were made by the beautiful girls at Sage and Country, they turned out absolutely perfect, we will forever have these items to look back on!
I am still so happy I did my hair and makeup myself, felt very me! My dress was perfect, I always knew I wanted something different! The Selkie puff dress was everything I ever dreamed of! Jeremy's suit was exactly what he wanted, the colour suited him so much! We wish we could relive the whole day as flies on the wall, experience it through someone else's eyes because to us it was everything, we imagined it to be and now we get to live happily ever after!
