Georgia & Riley

Our Love Story

Georgia and Riley first met in 2018, Riley had just finished his apprenticeship and Georgia had just been hired as a service advisor at Winter and Taylor Holden. After a couple of months of working together, Riley made the first move and asked Georgia out on their first date. Poor Riley didn't realise what he was getting himself into. From the moment they sat down for lunch he could barely get a word in. I'm sure you all know how talkative Georgia can be! The poor bloke was a little intimidated.
Fast forward 3 years and Georgia had been dropping hints for months about how 'cute' it would be if they got engaged on the day of their anniversary. Riley must have liked the idea because he bought the ring that very week. The Saturday night they had planned to stay at Crown and go and see the Wedding Singer the musical. Riley had packed his bag ready to go and had hidden the ring in one of his socks because his mum told him Georgia would never look in there. Riley was so nervous the whole drive up to Melbourne that he couldn't delay it any longer and the moment they got into the hotel room he got down on his knee and asked Georgia to marry him.
In 2022, Georgia and Riley bought their first home in Drysdale and now have completed their fur family with their 2 dogs, Bella and Polly and their 2 cats Joey and Lily.
The Day

It was looking like it was going to rain so we made the decision the night before to move our ceremony inside the venue. The day itself couldn't be faulted! Everything went so smoothly, and the sun even made an appearance just as we were leaving for the ceremony.
There were so many highlights of the day, one of which was Georgia's brother hosting our ceremony with Michelle our celebrant stepping in only for the legals. It was so special and personalised and something we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

I can't forget to thank our makeup artist for the day, Tania. As a client and now friend of Tania's, she made the morning getting ready so fun and stress free. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable and made myself and my bridal party feel so so beautiful! Tania has many many years experience in the wedding industry and she gave us so many tips and tricks.

It was also super important to me that our pups were involved in our day somehow. I have known Susie from Kings K9 Dog Training for years now so it just made sense for her to be the one to Chaffeur the girls. They were a little anxious but we were able to get some beautiful photos with them.
