The Day

Kat and Matt chose an elegant black and white theme for their wedding day, with clean lines and touches of gold. The couple were married beneath Rocklea Farm’s showstopping tree, creating memories so perfectly captured by their photography and videography dream team – Ryal Sormaz and Moment Seeker. Choosing to keep their guest list to a select group of loved ones, Kat and Matt credit their guests for the warmth they felt on the day. All the more important to them, was sharing their day with Kat’s father who passed the year before. Wanting to honour her incredible father, Kat and Matt worked with their celebrant Lea to include him in their ceremony. Kat also chose to honour her father with a photo on her wedding bouquet, and a memorial buttonhole on the bench next to her mother. Sharing your ideas and being transparent with your vendors on what’s important to you is something Kat would recommend to anyone wanting to honour a loved one. When it was time to party, Boutique Event Co were there with an espresso martini tower, while the guests had plenty of food options to keeping the celebration going. Kat and Matt’s love has already shown it can travel the distance, and the best part is it’s only just beginning.
