Love Story

At the heart of Jac and Kev’s love, is fun. After meeting at a house party over a decade ago, the couple have spent their time together creating a beautiful life. Welcoming two beautiful sons into the world, building their family home and seeing the world, Jac and Kev truly believe it’s their love of life, their drive and their sense of fun that has led to their incredible life together.
The Day

Focusing on what matters most, when it came to planning a wedding, Jac and Kev knew that for them it was less about the spectacle and more about their little family. For them, marriage would bring together everything they’ve created and the pair decided on an elopement in the trees with just a small group of six to bear witness to their commitment to each other. Waking up together in the picturesque setting of Dufflebird Getaways in Forrest, Jac and Kev spent the morning together with their boys – strolling to get coffee and exploring Lake Elizabeth. When it was time to say I do, Jac trusted Emily McGrath with her hair and makeup – Emily adding to the experience of a calm wedding day. With their guests arriving just before the ceremony, the close-knit wedding party spent time together making memories rather than feeling the pressures a big wedding can bring. Honouring the colours of the natural setting around them, over the top styling took a backseat as Jac and Kev were married in the lush setting. As laughter and happy tears filled the blissfully quiet space, Jac and Kev can’t thank the dream team of Kahani and Ryal of Elope Elsewhere enough for creating (and capturing) a wedding day that was a true reflection of the couple and their bond.
