Lauren & Tim

Love Story

The first time Lauren saw Tim he was wearing a suit, his shirt tucked in and all his buttons done up – even the top one. Lauren is the first to admit that when she looked Tim up and down she thought ‘Oh wow, he’s cute. Shame about the buttons’.

Bonding over the shared experience of an over-friendly couple talking to them from the table next to them, Lauren and Tim took a stroll through the streets of Melbourne, chatting for hours more over a drink at the next bar and ending the night off with their first kiss.

Keeping up his air of mystery, Tim kept Lauren guessing over their next few dates but in the end, their connection was undeniable. Five years later, two additions to the family and a shared love of cheese, their relationship has gone from strength to strength.

The Day

After postponing their wedding day for a year thanks to a global pandemic, Lauren and Tim were lucky enough to find a gap between lockdowns that meant their family and friends from interstate could attend their big day.

And just like Tim kept Lauren guessing with his mysterious ways, Lauren inadvertently kept Tim guessing when their wedding song played on repeat with no bride at the end of the aisle to greet him! Luckily, Lauren wasn’t getting cold feet, a glitch in the ceremony kick-starting wasn’t going to hold her back.

For Lauren and Tim, their wedding day was everything they ever wanted. And yes, they had a cheese wheel at their reception, that’s true love!
