Natalie & Kane

Love Story

Natalie and Kane’s love story began in the bakery aisle at Woolworths, where Natalie worked and Kane’s parents happened to be close friends with her manager. She met Kane’s dad before she met Kane – but when she finally did, she immediately thought he was cute and couldn’t wait to see more of him. After she moved on to a new job, they lost touch… until Kane spotted her on Tinder and sent her a cheeky message on Messenger, asking her out for coffee.

On their first date, nerves got the better of Natalie, and she famously spilt her hot chocolate all over herself during her lunch break – something Kane still brings up to this day. He told her she was on a 12-week trial, but at the 10-week mark, he was already in love.

Things moved quickly – in the best way. Within three months, they bought their first home together and soon after welcomed their daughter Ivy. Thirteen months later, little Ava made them a family of four. Since then, they’ve built a beautiful life in Leopold, invested in land in Robe, and recently celebrated their wedding day while expecting baby number three. Six years, three homes, and now almost three children – it’s been a love story built on connection, laughter, and a whole lot of heart.

The Day

Natalie and Kane were married at Mt Duneed Estate, surrounded by their two daughters, their closest friends, and a dream team of vendors. Their daughters Ivy and Ava were the flower girls, and while the aisle moment didn’t go quite to plan – Ivy turned around halfway down and had to be carried by Natalie, and Ava made her solo way with bridesmaid backup – it became one of the sweetest, most memorable parts of the day.

The morning was a whirlwind of fun and chaos, with Natalie juggling glam prep and parenting, but thanks to Maddi Nicholls on makeup and Bec from Colour and Bridal Co on hair, she felt radiant and relaxed. The photography dream team of Meg Read and Pat from Lightbox Media captured every joyful, emotional, and hilarious moment – including Kane jumping on the mic during the reception to sing a song he wrote (and remixed especially for the day), which had everyone in stitches.

The reception carried on into the early hours with the Baker Boys’ incredible 8-piece band bringing serious energy to the dancefloor. When the formalities were done, guests kicked on in the on-site accommodation pods at Mt Duneed, watching the sunrise to finish the celebration in the most perfect way.

Styling was romantic and timeless, with a soft palette of nudes, blush pinks, and creams. Natalie chose elegant white roses for her bouquet – wanting something classic that wouldn’t date. The floral vision carried across to the table styling and bridesmaids’ soft-toned Billy J dresses, creating an effortlessly cohesive look that will stand the test of time.
