Love Story

Easy, uncomplicated love – that’s how Nikki and Elliot describe their nearly decade-long love story. Meeting at an age where the whole world was right in front of them, the pair have grown up together. From fast food casual jobs - to degrees, careers, a new home and two fur
babies – they’ve seen milestone side by side. For Nikki and Elliot, their life together is about the small things, the things they love to do as best friends in love – walking to get their coffee, watching a crime doco and spending time planning their next holiday. After 8 years
together Elliott popped the question at the Grand Canyon in August of 2023. Asking Nikki to set up the self-timer to capture a photo of them with the view, Elliot got down on one knee and the answer was easy!

The Day

Planning a wedding can be a daunting task, but Nikki and Elliot had a secret weapon when it came to organising their own special day – Nikki! Working in event management, Nikki knew exactly how she wanted to celebrate their love story, and who she trusted to bring it to life. First up was the venue and there was no question in their mind. Booking Provenance Wines, the couple secured some of the best Geelong has to offer when it comes to food and wine, and one of the biggest drawcards for them was the partnership with Provenance Wines and Boutique Event Co, who designed cocktails to really get the party started. Feeling inspired by their love of colour, Nikki and Elliot were married with pops of pinks, blue, orange and red complimenting the flickering candlelight. Under the care of celebrant Jessie Belle, and captured by photographer Jacob Heston, the couple were finally married in front of their loved ones. With the formalities done, Nikki and Elliot wanted their wedding to feel like one big party. With a cocktail in hand, the couple hit the dancefloor thanks to the perfect combination of Cal Young and Frankie Say Sax. It sounds cliché but for Nikki and Elliot, their wedding day was everything they imagined it
would be – fun, bright and full of love.
