Shenae + Sara

Sara and Shanae met through mutual friends in 2017 when they both felt an instant connection. Shenae was attracted to Sara's care free & giving nature, she had an ability to make her feel so at ease - as cliche as it sounds, when you know you know. In September 2018 Shenae proposed to Sara at The Bluff in Barwon Heads and they decided to marry in March 2019 in front of 120 guests at Balyang Sanctuary with a cocktail reception to follow at Provenance Wines

Their wedding day was magical. The brides had 5 girls each in their bridal party, whom all played a massive part the our day. Shanae's 2 year old son Byron stole all the attention at the ceremony, he walked down the isle with two flower girls.
What I love most about this wedding was that they broke traditions and created their own. They all got ready together the morning of the wedding and Sara and Shenae traveled to the ceremony in the same car with both their fathers in a black '64 Thunderbird. We walked down the isle together, with their fathers on each side to the song In Case You Didnt Know- Boyce Avenue.
Shenae explained "our reception was amazing, it felt like a big celebration, one we didn't want to end".

The bridal party walked in to the song "Tell me You Love Me- Galantis"

Sara and Shanae shared their first dance to "Dreams"-Gabrielle
