Our Love Story

Our story began nearly 9 years ago, when he invited me away camping in Echuca for the weekend with his family. We had been talking a little but I had known part of his family for quite sometime. From that Australia Day weekend we became a couple with no looking back and have been able to create such beautiful memories over the next 8 years!
We love to explore and travel together both by ourselves and with our closest friends and have been lucky enough to explore many countries including our own Australia. With the addition of Marley, our dog, we felt our family was whole and couldn't picture our family any other way, she is our world and loves the car trips and holidays as much as we do!
He proposed to me, one evening at La Vista (one of our favourite restaurants in Geelong), he was so nervous he ate two mains! But, he caught me off guard and it was a total blur!
Our love consists of being cheeky to one another, supportive and genuine. Always honest and we wouldn't have it any other way, we've built the most amazing life together and we're only 30 with the rest of our lives ahead of us!
The Day

The entire day was just perfect, we had the most picturesque autumn day we could have hoped for! We kept it all simple and went with the flow which truly made our day not only super special but meant we were both relaxed and had the best time!
We did something special and unique with my bouquet, I had begun walking down the aisle with my brother with a few flowers in hand and as I walked the aisle I had 5 very important people in my life hand me part of my bouquet, sealed with a kiss and a hug. My bouquet was then tied togther by a white ribbon the groom had and met me with at the end of the aisle. The images Zara took really capture how special this moment was. It was an emotional experience and everyone said how beautiful it was.
From there it was all fun, we had our photos taken at Batesford followed by Dog Rocks with our fur baby Marley where we captured the best us 100% in our element with our little family. Having Marley part of the wedding was a huge factor and we couldn't picture it any other way, she is our baby!
The night rolled in and the bridal party entered the venue to Sandstorm! Ripping up the d-floor and setting the mood for the night!
The Batesford had the drinks rolling and the rotisserie roasts cooking! It was amazing and everyone danced the night away!
After we cut our cake we moved onto our dance that we never once practiced but we took slow steps which made us look elegant and like we meant it! It was honestly the best day we could have hoped for, and seeing as the previous 2 attempts to get married had been cancelled due to COVID this 3rd time at organising couldn't have been any better; we wouldn't change a thing!
